A family in Waterloo has been displaced after an early morning fire Wednesday, according to KWWL. Waterloo Fire and Rescue was called to the 600 block of Wallgate Avenue just after 4:00 a.m. When they arrived on scene they found fire coming from the second story. The family of two adults and two teens were able to escape the home without injury. A pet had to be rescued from the home. The Red Cross was called in to assist the family. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time but the investigation is still ongoing.
