Knights & Beavers Split
Wednesday night in college basketball Wartburg split with Buena Vista on the road. The Knights won the women’s game 64-53 and the Beavers won the men’s game 86-71.
Men Upset; Women Win
Wednesday night in men’s basketball Iowa was upset by Maryland 77-70. In women’s basketball the Hawkeyes beat Washington 65-56.

Wednesday night on KWAY Country the Class 4A 7th ranked Go-Hawk girls basketball team beat Class 1A 15th ranked Kee 74-44 to go to 20-1. School history was made in the game. D-NH Sweeps Wapsie Valley
Tuesday night on Y99.3 the Dike-New Hartford basketball teams swept Wapsie Valley. In the girls game the Wolverines won a squeaker 43-41 despite Bailey Murphy scoring 20 points for the Warriors. In the boys game Dike-New Hartford beat Wapsie Valley 80-66. Wapsie Valley’s Briggs Boehme scored 25 points in the loss.
Wildcat Scoring Record Broken
In a remarkable boys game Tuesday night Janesville beat Rockford 104-37 to win the Iowa Star Conference’s North Division. In the win Talen Pletz became Janesville’s all-time scoring leader besting Wiley Sherburne’s 1,284 points.
School Moving Forward with Stadium Project
