Sports fans throughout the Cedar Valley join the staff of the Waterloo Courier in mourning the sudden passing of Assistant Sports Editor Jim Sullivan who covered high school and college sports in the Cedar Valley. The 61 year old Minnesota native was found unresponsive at his desk Friday and paramedics were unable to revive him. Sullivan has been with the Courier since 1984, and he will be missed by his family, sports fans and his fellow media members.
