A Waterloo woman has been sentenced to prison time for firing a gun at a car with small children inside, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Now 28 year old Maylesha Campbell became upset with a Facebook comment in 2020 and set out to confront Lashun Brown in real life. Campbell found Brown driving on Riehl Street and opened fire. At least one bullet hit the back door, inches away from a child. Campbell asked the court for probation saying she is not the person this case made her out to be. Judge Joel Dalrymple decided the facts of the case dictated prison time and sentenced her to up to 10 years behind bars.
