Early voting begins Wednesday, October 19th in Iowa for the November mid-term elections. Voters will choose representatives in Congress, state offices, and county officials. You can vote through the mail, in-person at the county election office, or at the polls on Election Day. Iowans can register to vote at iowadot.gov. Alternatively Iowans can print a form from the Iowa Secretary of State’s website and mail or bring the completed form to their local auditor. In order to be eligible you must be a U.S. Citizen, an Iowa resident, at least 17 years old and at least 18 on or before Election Day, not judged to be mentally incompetent to vote by a court, and not claim the right to vote anywhere else.
