A man was shot in the rear end after breaking into an apartment Tuesday morning in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The man, who has not been identified, broke into an apartment at 65 Conger Street around 8:30am. A fight with those inside the residence broke out before the man was shot in the backside. He fled and was taken to Allen Hospital by private vehicle. The people inside the apartment immediately reported the incident. The case remains under investigation.
