Waterloo YouTuber Guilty

A YouTuber from Waterloo has been found guilty of obstructing police who were arresting a neighbor as part of a sex crime investigation, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Beau Bish often films in public until somebody becomes suspicious of him, at which point he pretends to be a reporter with a made up news organization. One day Bish returned to his home to find police at his neighbor’s home across the street. He got out his camera and started filming. Bish stayed on the sidewalk in front of the home but was asked several times to move back. He answered those requests with profanity and a refusal to move. Officers reported that they had to put their search of the home on pause in order to deal with Bish. Bish was found guilty in court of Disorderly Conduct. He will be sentenced at a later date. He says he will appeal the verdict.
