Waterloo Schools are paying a former assistant basketball coach $10,000 as part of a resignation agreement, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The Board of Education approved the payout during a January 25th special session. It is unclear what the payment is for or even who the coach is and the school says they cannot comment on the issue because it is a confidential personnel matter.
