A Waterloo man was injured in a house fire early Friday morning, according to KWWL. Firefighters were called to a residence on Riehl Street around 1:40am. When they arrived on scene they found smoke coming from the back of the single story home. The fire was quickly extinguished but an unnamed man was taken to Allen Hospital for treatment of injuries not thought to be life threatening. The cause of the fire remains under investigation at this time.
