A man that police believe was involved in a shootout in downtown Waterloo in November has been arrested, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 20 year old Laindrell Cooper allegedly began shooting at a group of people on November 18 in the 600 block of Sycamore Street. The group says they then returned fire. No injuries were reported but a vehicle and a barber shop were damaged. Cooper is prohibited from handling firearms due to a prior felony conviction.
