A Waverly woman has been arrested for drugs and assaulting a police officer. Waverly police conducted a traffic stop on 4th St SW last Wednesday on a vehicle driven by 29 year old Samantha Ledesma. She was arrested for Possession of Cocaine 2nd Offense, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Offense, Assault on a Peace Officer, and Interference With Official Acts. She has been booked into the Bremer County Jail.
