Several streets will be shut down Tuesday in Evansdale as repairs to a water main continue. Evansdale Water Works posted on their Facebook page that during the repairs last Thursday, workers discovered that a street valve was leaking at Grand Blvd and Lafayette Road. As part of the plan to repair the valve they will need to turn down several street valves that may impact customers for about 15 minutes around 8:00 a.m. Tuesday. Customers may experience little to no water pressure. The repairs will close down Lafayette Road from Evans Road to Eldene Court, North Evans Road, Saunders Avenue, Miner Drive, North Roosevelt Road, Bright Street, Norma Avenue, Mary Drive, Heather Avenue, Brooklyn Manor Place, Knudson Drive, Earl Street, and Eldene Court. Evansdale Water Works say they will provide an update as soon as possible.
