We are just now learning that sex offender escaped from the Waterloo Residential Correctional Facility and remained at large for nearly a month, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 26 year old Theron Fuller was placed in the facility on February 27th after his prison sentence was suspended. Fuller was spotted by police leaving the vacant Longfellow School at 4:00 a.m. in March of 2018 with a 14 year old girl. Police say the two engaged in sexual intercourse in the school. An emergency exit door alarm sounded around 6:00 p.m. on March 1st. Staff looked out the window to see Fuller running away. He was finally recaptured on March 26th.
