A Sumner man has been sentenced to federal prison after being found with thousands of images of child porn on his computer, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 60 year old Jeffrey Gruber was sentenced to five years and three months in federal prison on charges of Possession of Child Pornography. He was also ordered to pay $22,000 in restitution. Police says they received an alert about activity on his internet address in 2017. A search of his home turned up more than 3,500 photographs and 35 videos of child porn, some of which involving children under the age of 12 on his eMachines computer.
