A Waterloo teen has been arrested after police found a gun in his backpack, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 16 year old Desmond Seals has been charged as an adult with one count of Carrying a Weapon on School Grounds. Police had a search warrant for a home at 503 Cottage Street and for a vehicle. That vehicle was witnessed leaving the home. Police followed the vehicle until it pulled into the parking lot of Dr. Walter Cunningham School for Excellence. At that point they stopped the vehicle. The search found a 9mm Glock inside Seals’ backpack.
