A Cedar Falls man has been charged for forgetting his daughter in his pickup truck in subzero temperatures in March, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Authorities were notified around 6:20 p.m. on March 17th that there was a five year old child alone in the truck in the 200 block of Main Street. The caller said the child had been there for about 90 minutes. The vehicle’s engine was not on and temperatures were around 25 degrees at the time. Police eventually found the child’s father, 37 year old Jacob Stevenson, working at the Horny Toad. He told police he forgot she was in the vehicle. He was charged with Child Endangerment and was released from jail pending trial.
