Cedar Falls Police are asking the public for their help in identifying a man they believe broke into a home on Monday and assaulted the homeowner before stealing several items, according to KWWL. Police were called to a home in the 1900 block of College street around 3:00 a.m. on a report that a male had entered the home through an unlocked window. Police have obtained video footage of the man they believe to be the suspect from a different resident and before the break-in.
