A Waterloo woman has been arrested after allegedly hitting three people with her car on Sunday, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 19 year old Zaria Nix allegedly got into an altercation in the area of Gable and North Barclay streets. She then is accused of getting into her Kia Optima, backing up, and then accelerating forward into three people. Witnesses say the impact sent the victims flying into the air. When police arrived on scene, an 18 year old male was found unconscious and bleeding from the mouth, nose, and ear. He was taken to Allen Hospital. Another victim has a limp while the third had a head injury, however they refused treatment. Nix has been charged with Willful Injury Causing Serious Injury and two counts of Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury.
