A Waterloo mother was arrested on Saturday after leaving her four year old child at a location where the mother is banned, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police say that 32 year old Trisha Schneck dropped off her daughter a block away from the child’s grandmother’s apartment complex with a bag of McDonalds. Schneck is banned from the complex on West Dale Street. A note attached to the McDonalds bag explained that Schneck had a doctor appointment and would be back later to pick the child up. The child made it to the grandmother’s but she was not home at the time. Nearly an hour later a passerby spotted the child and called police. The grandmother was located at a neighbor’s and did not know that the child was there. Schneck was charged with misdemeanor Child Endangerment.
