A Vinton man has been arrested for allegedly claiming someone else’s winnings at the Isle Casino in Waterloo, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 23 year old Logan Moody was arrested on Monday and charged with False Claim of Winnings. Police say an Amana woman left her slot machine on October 1st to use the restroom. Before doing so she tipped her chair, indicating she planned to return. Surveillance video shows Moody approach the machine, collect the winnings, cash out, and leave. Moody committed several other crimes in September and October in Benton and Tama Counties. On September 12th he allegedly stole a bicycle from a bar in Vinton. The day after this alleged crime in Waterloo, he is accused of stealing items from a vehicle in the parking lot at the Meskwaki Casino near Tama. Later in the month he allegedly stole three pickup trucks from secondary roads buildings in Tama County.
