Waverly Police have arrested six people in connection with a search carried out last Friday. Police were originally called to 618 3rd Street NW to remove a dangerous animal. When they arrived they detected the smell of burnt marijuana coming from inside the residence. 38 year old Joshua Burke, 54 year old John Dorfman, 53 year old Scott Dorfman, 53 year old Bart Hunemuller, 52 year old Trevor Schwartz, and 50 year old Cheryl Walter, all of Waverly, were arrested on drug charges. Police say additional charges are pending.
