The Wells Fargo location in downtown Waterloo will be closing its doors for good Wednesday at noon, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The company says with more people using digital banking and not making as many transactions at the physical bank it made since to consolidate the downtown location with the location about two miles away on Kimball Avenue. Customers were mailed a letter about the consolidation. Employees from the downtown location will transition to other branches or other positions within the company.
