Two fishermen had to be rescued from the Cedar River in Waterloo on Thursday morning, according to KWWL. Emergency crews were called to the area near 6th Street and the railroad bridge around 9:30 a.m. Neither person was seriously injured. It is unclear what led to the rescue.
