Work on US 218 and Iowa 57 in Black Hawk County will shift to the next phase, which will change the lanes available to drivers. The DOT announced that on Monday traffic will be moved to the outside two lanes of the road. All current closures and detours will remain as work on that portion of the road continues. A mobile message sign will be in place to alert drivers to the upcoming traffic switch. This phase is expected to be completed by mid-November.
