A Charles City man has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman and busting out her car window, according to KIMT. 37 year old Dean Naeve has been charged with first degree Burglary, Domestic Abuse Assault- Strangulation, and fourth degree Criminal Mischief. Police say Naeve physically assaulted the woman around 7:45 p.m. Thursday. That allegedly led to a fight where Naeve grabbed, hit, and choked the woman. He then tried to take her purse before she escaped to her vehicle. Before she could leave, Naeve allegedly hit the driver’s side window until the glass shattered. The woman suffered several small cuts to her arms and hands.
