A woman was shot in Waterloo Tuesday afternoon, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Police were called to the 2300 block of Falls Avenue around 2:00 p.m. When they arrived on scene they found that the woman had been shot in the leg. She was taken to the hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening. Her name has not been released and no suspect has been named to this point.
