Monday is a big day for young students in Shell Rock. Shell Rock Elementary students are now attending school in Waverly until the end of the school year. As superintendent Ed Klamfoth shared Monday morning, students have been moved in order for renovations to begin.
Work is not yet complete on the other elementary school in Waverly. Students in Waverly will move to the two new locations next Fall and Shell Rock Elementary students will return to their hometown at that same time.
