The City of Readlyn has released the parameters for burning leaves within city limits. It must be just leaves, no building materials or other household wastes. The burning must not be done on paved streets or sidewalks. Do not burn wet leaves. Be considerate of your neighbors when burning. Leaf burning will be permitted until November 15th.
The City of Readlyn will be flushing fire hydrants from Sunday the 22nd through Friday the 27th. During this time resident’s water may become slightly discolored but will not be harmful to their health. The city suggests running the cold water tap until the discoloration clears up.
