Drug Take Back Day will be on Saturday. On that day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. citizens are asked to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications at the Waverly Public Library. Law enforcement will then destroy those medications and keep them from falling into the wrong hands. Take Back Day aims to build awareness of the issue of pharmaceutical drug abuse.
