Area School Performances Revealed

The Department of Education has released the latest Iowa School Performance Profiles. The profiles are an online tool showing how public schools performed on required measures. Waverly Shell Rock High School received a score of 60.47, which is above the state average of 54.81. That earned WSR a “Commendable” rating. Clarksville High School got a score of 61.05 and a “High Performing” rating. Janesville High School’s score was lower but still above average at 57.21 with a “Commendable” rating. Wapsie Valley High School was below average with score of 51.87, nearly a full three points below the state average. They received an “Acceptable” rating. Denver High School just snuck into the 60s at 60.11 and a “Commendable” rating. Tripoli High School was similar to Janesville’s score at 57.51 and “Commendable”. Sumner Fredericksburg High School came in just above average at 55.23. They also got a “Commendable” rating. Dunkerton got a score of 56.77 and received a rating of “Commendable”.
