A Mason City man has been arrested for allegedly committing several crimes in Floyd County, including stealing golf clubs in Charles City, according to KIMT. 28 year old Dylan Mennenga was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants on Wednesday. Police say he broke into a building on 9th street in Charles City where he took the golf clubs. He then allegedly led law enforcement on a chase through Nora Springs at speeds more than 25 miles per hour over the speed limit. On Wednesday he was found in possession of methamphetamine. He was charged with second degree Burglary, Possession of Burglar’s tools, Eluding, and Possession of Methamphetamine 3rd or subsequent offense. He was booked into the Floyd County Jail.
