A Keokuk woman has been arrested in connection with a house fire in Waterloo in early October, according to KWWL. Surveillance video shows 38 year old Kristen Golliher approach a home in the 500 block of East 2nd Street on October 1st. At that point there is no fire. Golliher is then seen smoking a cigarette at the scene. Then a fire begins in a trash can before spreading to the home. That is when Golliher walks away from the scene without alerting authorities. Investigators say Golliher knows the person who lived in the home but did not expand on that relationship or why exactly she set the fire. She has now been charged with first degree Arson.
