A Waterloo man has been arrested in connection with a shooting over the weekend, according to KWWL. A man was shot while in a vehicle near Glenwood and Lane Streets around 4:45 a.m. Sunday. Surveillance video showed multiple people drive away from the scene. One of those people was identified as 29 year old Marqwane Smith. He has now been charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He has not been charged with firing the weapon, however. The victim is recovering from his wound. This was one of two shootings on Sunday in which a person in a car was hit by a bullet. It is unclear if they are connected.
