Several area towns are under a snow emergency or snow ordinance. Denver has the emergency in place until Wednesday at noon. During that time all vehicles need to be removed from the roadways. Any vehicle left on the roadway will be subject to a ticket or will be towed. Parking on the streets is also not allowed in Readlyn. Any vehicle parked on the street during snow removal will be subject to a $20 fine. They expect plowing to be done multiple times over the next couple of days. There is a similar situation in Fairbank, which has also shared the city ordinances regarding snow removal on their Facebook page. Janesville’s snow emergency will stay in effect until 6am on Thursday. The city of Nashua is asking citizens to get vehicles and trash bins out of the roadways so they can be plowed. Any vehicle found on the street will be issued a $25 ticket.
