Another snowstorm has hit the area, closing schools and prompting snow ordinances and emergencies in several area towns. In Denver a snow emergency has been issued until noon tomorrow. No street parking will be permitted during that time, violators will be subjected to a ticket or the vehicle being towed. There has also been a snow emergency issued in Janesville until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow. A snow ordinance is in effect in Fairbank. They have again posted the relevant rules on their Facebook page. In Nashua, vehicles are to be removed from the streets and right of ways. Those who fail to do so will be issued a $25 ticket. Trash bins should also be moved out of the way. The City of Plainfield is reminding citizens to remove snow and ice from public sidewalks within 24 hours of the snowfall ceasing. They ask that the snow and ice not be placed in a city street or alley. Those that live near a fire hydrant are asked to clear three feet around the hydrant and everyone is asked to clear a path to their mailboxes for easy access for the deliverer.
