A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly using his mother’s truck to ram a car carrying his ex-girlfriend, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 38 year old Nathaniel Cummings is accused of taking his mom’s Chevy Silverado without her knowledge on Saturday morning shortly before 9am. He then allegedly rammed a Ford Fiesta with his ex-girlfriend and two others inside at a red light, pushing it into the intersection where it was struck by another vehicle. Cummings then allegedly left the scene. Police later found him at the Isle Casino Hotel but have been unable to locate the truck. Cummings has been charged with three counts of Assault With a Weapon, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Operating Without Owner’s Consent and second degree Criminal Mischief.
