Possible Cabin Coming to Popular Park

The Bremer County Conservation Board is looking to build a cabin in Cedar Bend Park, according to KCRG. The cabin would replace one of the open-air shelters that the board says are underutilized. The location already has access to water and electricity and is on high ground. The board is hoping to raise at least $200,000 for the cabin. Once finished it would be available to the public for rent with at least two bedrooms. Anyone interested in donating or helping with the cabin is asked to contact Larry Pavelec.
