Waterloo Schools has announced that they plan to purchase 30 acres of land for a new agriculture program as part of the Waterloo Career Center, according to KWWL. The land will be purchased for a price just shy of $730,000. The district says it will enhance the hands-on agricultural opportunities for the students. The closing date on the property will be on March 18th. The agriculture program will be one of four new programs coming to the career center this fall. The others include beauty, cosmetology, and criminal justice.
