Casey’s is purchasing the Panther Travel Center in Cedar Falls, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. The new location will make seven Casey’s stores in Cedar Falls. Panther Travel Center, located near the intersection of Hudson Road and West Ridgeway Avenue opened in 2020. In addition to the current gas station there are two other commercial locations on site. One is currently occupied by The Shop Auto and Truck Repair, which opened recently. They expect to stay once Casey’s takes over. The other space previously housed the now defunct Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza restaurant. The future of that space remains a mystery. Casey’s expects to be up and running by April.
