Waterloo Police are investigating a car fire at a home early Thursday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. Waterloo Fire Rescue was called to 816 Sumner Street around 5:15 a.m. When they arrived on scene they found the car burning in the alley. The heat from the flames melted the vinyl siding on the back of the house. 10 people were inside the home at the time. Nobody was injured. That house had been vandalized just a week prior. On that occasion rocks had been thrown through two living room windows. It is unclear if the two incidents are related.
