The Waterloo Compost Facility opened up on Saturday, two weeks earlier than normal due to the unseasonably warm weather, according to KCRG. The facility on Independence Avenue will now be open seven days a week, including holidays, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Yard Waste Curbside Service will begin on Monday, April 1st. The yard waste will be collected on the same day as regular trash pickup.
