Grading work will be taking place on US Highway 218 between Janesville and Waverly beginning Monday, April 8th, weather permitting. This work is part of the relocation of 218 for the new interchange at 260th street. The work may call for intermittent lane closures. Also beginning next Monday, crews in Chickasaw County will be replacing a bridge along US Highway 18. The bridge over Winters Lake Overflow is scheduled to be replaced. The work is expected to last until early October. During this time there will be a marked detour utilizing Chickasaw County roads T-76, B-57, and V-14.
