A West Union man has been arrested after littering. The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a report of box springs, beds and numerous bags of garbage thrown into a ditch on Echo Valley Road and Imperial Road. 32 year old Christopher Zuercher was arrested and charged with 29 counts of Depositing or Throwing Litter on Highway. He was fined nearly $4,600 and was ordered to return to the scene with deputies and remove all of the garbage. The sheriff’s office says they greatly appreciate the public reporting the incident.
