Man Guilty of Killing Nashua Man

A jury has found a man guilty for killing a Nashua man in 2012, according to KIMT. 51 year old Randy Patrie was convicted of first degree Murder in the killing of Carl Gallmeyer. Patrie broke into Gallmeyer’s home near Nashua in September of 2012 and shot Gallmeyer with a sawed off shotgun. State charges had been suspended after Patrie pleaded guilty in federal court to Possession of a Sawed-off Shotgun and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. He was sentenced to life in prison. After an appeal that sentence was reduced to 20 years in prison. The Murder charge was then filed against Patrie in Chickasaw County in 2022. He will be sentenced on July 2nd.
