The Butler County Fair got started Tuesday with a parade and the crowning of the Butler County Fair Queen. Miss Greene, Erika Brinkman, won the crown. Her court includes Miss Clarksville, Addy Johnson, as first runner up, Miss Shell Rock, Karissa Oldenburger, second runner up, and Miss Parkersburg, Ada Switzer, was named Miss Congeniality. The fair continues Wednesday in Allison. Today’s schedule includes the Farmer’s Tractor Pull at 10am, the 4-H/FFA Horse Show at 10:30, the 4-H/FFA Poultry Show at 3, Darrel the Balloon Man will be on the grounds from 4-7, the carnival opens up at 4, and the grandstand event of the night is the ECI Pullers Association Tractor Pull starting at 7.
