An elderly Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting the kitchen staff a country club, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 84 year old Rudolph Bernhard has been charged with one count of misdemeanor Assault. Bernhard, who formerly owned a restaurant, is accused of barging into the kitchen area at the Sunnyside Country Club around 8:00 p.m. to complain about the food. During the confrontation, Bernhard allegedly shoved an employee and repeatedly tapped the employee on the shoulder. Bernhard was released pending trial.
