Waterloo Man Sentenced for Drunk Driving Stolen Vehicle

A Waterloo man has been sentenced after being caught driving a stolen vehicle while drunk in Mason City, according to KIMT. 28 year old Brody Buck pleaded guilty to first degree Theft, Possession of Marijuana- third offense, OWI- second offense, and Driving While Barred. He was arrested on October 3rd after committing multiple traffic violations in a Chevy Silverado that had been reported stolen. Police said Buck had bloodshot, watery eyes, slurred his speech, and smelled of alcohol. His Blood Alcohol Content was measured at .138. Police also found marijuana in his possession. Buck has been sentenced to 30 days in jail, five years of supervised probation, and fined more than $1,800. He also must pay for $2,000 worth of damages.
