The Waverly Police Department has announced that Traffic Control Lights will return to regular operation Thursday. The lights were put on flash due to the reduction of traffic on Bremer Avenue. During the Jack-o-Lantern Night vehicular traffic is anticipated to increase along with pedestrian traffic. The FFA and Waverly Rotary will be providing crossing guards who will utilize the lights to help walk pedestrians across the street. The lights will be switched to regular operation Thursday morning to allow for an corrections that may be needed to be made. The Waverly Police Department will have an officer monitoring the Cedar Lane and Horton Road intersection. If traffic backs up beyond normal commuting congestion, they will provide traffic control.
