Winnebago Industries has alerted the State of Iowa that they will be laying off more than 30 workers at the end of November, according to KIMT. 33 workers at the Forest City location will be laid off by November 22nd. 36 people were laid off at the Charles City location at the same time last year. Fourth Quarter revenues for Winnebago were down by 6.5% and gross profit dropped by 26% while operating expenses increased by 60%. For the year, revenues dropped by nearly 15%, gross profit was down 26%, and operating expenses were up nearly 17%.
