The annual Waverly Rail Trail Candlelight Walk will be held on Saturday from 5 to 7. The walk is a free, one mile candlelit stroll on the trail beginning at the trail head shelter behind Kwik Star East in Waverly. Volunteers will place over 1,500 luminaries to light the way. Complimentary hot cocoa will be provided by Nestle. Participants can wear a Halloween costume if they so choose. This event is dog friendly. The decision to cancel due to inclement weather or the current county burn ban will be made by 3:30pm. There will be no make-up in that event.
